This past Saturday we played Jerry and Terri Fest in Spring Lake Wisconsin and all we can say is wow! What a great time we had, what a great party, what great people! Jerry's a great musician and sang some songs with us. You really don't know what you're getting yourself into when you mobilize the band for a show 2.5 hours away, but boy this gig exceeded our expectations! We were scheduled to play 6:00 to 9:00....at 7:05 we took a 15 minute break and were scheduled to take another break, but with a threat of possible rain, we skipped the second break and just kept playing. Probably would not have stopped anyway-EVERYBODY was dancing- it was so awesome...when 9:00 arrived, and everybody having such a great time, the wonderful crowd "encouraged" us to continue on :)  We played (at their insistence :) until 9:45, which we'll consider 45 minutes of encores:) because they wouldn't let us stop (that is an AWESOME problem for a band to have). If we didn't have a 2.5 hour drive AFTER loading up all equipment we probably would have played all night. We really can't say enough about how much fun that show was, and how great the people were. Some band members have said it was our best gig to date. It was the kind of night a band dreams of having...look at the GREAT things they posted on our Facebook site after the show! And thanks to Steve from Take 1 (sound company), for sticking it out that extra 45 minutes!

On April 27th we played Shank Hall opening for Chris Duarte Group-what a night. The crowd was just outstanding, boy does CDG have a great 'following'!  I met one person who drove all the way from Iowa for the show!!!!  WOW!  it was well worth it, Chris put on a stunning show. We were so excited to be part of that night...we also had a lot of friends there, loved the stage and pro sound system (same company that does sound for Bluesfest!), had a professional photographer take tons of photos (we didn't hire him- Rick was there for CDG and he was kind enough to take some photos of us...), we do have some audio from that night...trying to get a song or two uploaded to our website. Also the show was professionally videotaped in HD...waiting to hear back from the guy who did that- of course if we get any of it, we'll upload some to this website...added some new shows so check out the gigs/shows page on this website.  Hope to see everyone at Liquid Johnnys June 11th and the Nice Ash Cigar Bar on June 18th...then the next weekend we hit the road for a Private Event in Neshkoro,WI....stay tuned!

Lots to say since last report...What an awesome time the band had last night at Liquid Johnnys, so many friends & family showed up for a fun show. The rumour mill says one of our newest friends, guitarist Mike H. and his wife from Ixonia were in attendance again last night- wish we would have seen you! (heard you missed our two Buddy Guy songs early though- sorry! :)  Drews' enormous gang of family and friends was awesome as usual also-thanks everyone! And the Ann crew was out in full force-great to see everyone! So many musicians are always at our shows, Dan & Dale, Dave G. Mike H. and so many more! The show went so well last night we were rebooked on the spot again-we'll be back there June 11th. If you were one of the three people NOT there you missed a LOT of fun-Kyle disappearing out the front door and coming through the back DURING some awesome guitar solos compliments of nice weather and his new cordless, Johns' drummers' throne crashing to the floor in pieces, and us stacking milk crates for him to sit on for the rest of the show, new songs added & tried, and a song where we each bandmate switched instruments was fun and partially successful, Drew finally playing harp (harmonica) on two songs and Dale Y. adding great harp playing and sound assistance. We found out recently we are BACK AT BLUESFEST this year. Like the Shank Hall show coming up, BluesFest is such a huge show for us. Although the set is only 40 minutes, we get to play on a HUGE professional stage with the absolute best sound system, with so many other great bands and MEGA stars for headliners, and meet so many great people who are passionate about music. Having 3 band members originally from Waukesha, it really means a lot to us to be part of the Waukesha BluesFest.  Next show is HUGE! Opening for Chris Duarte Group at Shank Hall on April 27th is one of our most exciting shows to date...we WILL be putting every thing we have into those 40 minutes. We really hope you 'troublemakers' can be there and share this great experience with us...hey we're done by 8:40, stick around, be amazed by Chris Duarte for a while and still be home early!!!  Wear your Serious Trouble gear to Shank Hall, and if you don't have a Serious Trouble T-shirt, let any of us know (or e-mail us here at the website or facebook us) and we'll get you one before the show-let's have an awesome turnout to Shank Hall-THANKS EVERYONE!

The band was SO hyped this week to find out we were opening for Chris Duarte Group April 27th at Shank Hall. Talk about the perfect band to open for. Chris Duarte headlined Bluesfest last year the same night we played earlier...anybody who comes to this show will be completely blown away by how awesome of a guitarist Chris is. We are VERY hyped, and so proud to be part of this show! We really hope that as many of you 'troublemakers' as possible can join us for this truly special night. Shank Hall Wed April 27th. We play promptly at 8:00  Chris Duarte Group plays at 9:00

What can you say about BluesFest but WOW!...We had SUCH a great time playing BluesFest yesterday!!!....Great audience, great venue, if only EVERY day could be BluesFest :)
We really enjoyed celebrating our gig at Bluesfest by having friends & family there, and the new people we met were absolutely the best...our band received so many compliments from so many great people, yesterday was a dream come true for our band...if you were part of that audience, thank you so much for how welcome you made us feel!

A lot of people asked when our next gig is...although we are finalizing the details on our next few gigs, we just came off quite a busy summer, and are looking forward to some time to "re-tool" our show, write some of our own music, and come back even better.....watch our website and Facebook page for updates very soon....and thanks again!!!!

This past weekend was our 'three gig' weekend: Smokin' Joes on Friday (Thanks Eddy Weber band!), Abby's Angels' Breast Cancer Benefit on Saturday, and Mo's Irish Pub on Sunday.
Thank you to all who saw us on those three days- and especially those who braved being out late on a Sunday night. The Mo's show was definitely one of our better shows....the second set had Kyle playing the best he's sounded, band was tight being our third show of the weekend....thanks to those of you who were there, you know who you are (and so do we :)

One of the many surprises of the weekend is how fast our girl tank tops are selling- wow!

Next up is our show at Racine County Fair. Serious Trouble is headlining the Runzheimer International Stage at 10:00 p.m. Saturday July 31st....we are really looking forward to it!
